Senators give themselves a $4,700 pay raise

Somehow this bit of news was lost to us among all the immigration bill headlines. On June 27 it was decided that your senator will now make $170,000 a year.

It's incredible how easy it is to see what makes the Senate get their act together, and what doesn't. It's frighteningly sad how mnay worthy bills sit in committee and never get out...

Especially disgusting when most of them were willing to screw over the middle-class taxpayers of this country by forcing us to pay $2.6 trillion dollars in tax burden for their illegal immigrant amnesty bill.
