Daily video: Ann Coulter and Bill O'Reilly on the failed immigration reform bill

Some readers wrote to us asking why we selected the liberally-slanted Jon Stewart video for our last "Daily video" post on Friday. Like our cartoons of the day, and everything else we post on this blog, we try to present our readers with as many different viewpoints as possible. Today, for example, we head to the right's camp.

Aired on FOX News' "The O'Reilly Factor".

Anonymous,

Head south of the Mason-Dixie Line and you'll find the buffoon-lovers.

I don't know, I see a lot of buffoons on TV emanating from south of the Rio Grande, so there must be a lot of buffoon-lovers there too. I especially enjoyed the show a few months ago when the Mexican Senate had what looked like a sumo-wrestling fight on the floor of their Senate building right in front of the TV cameras!

oh, maryst - the U.S. is the birthplace of the end of civilization. much like when Rome fell, here in the U.S. we enjoy watching people emotionally humiliate and physically mutilate themselves. it's called reality tv. it's called the wrestling federation. Unfortunately, we've infected the entire world with our far-reaching mass media

frank gehry,

When American Senators wrestle with each other on the floor of our Senate, let me know.

PS the first US "reality" show was imported from Sweden. That would have been "Survivor" which was based on a Swedish TV show called "Expedition Robinson."
