    • The Houston Chronicle's blog reports that some attorneys there are encouraging legal immigrants who've been waiting on their green cards for many years to join the class action lawsuit in Chicago.
    • Neal Boortz writes in his blog that no action on illegal immigrants will ever be effective because such action would disproportionately affect Hispanics, which would be "politically incorrect", much to his chagrin.

Perfect example of the delusional nature of the Mexican political culture. The flag on top of those rows of skulls should be a Mexican one, not an American one. It's the Mexican government that refuses to provide for its masses of poor people and prefers to export them to the US rather than take care of them. It's the Mexican government that won't collect taxes from Carlos Slim Helou and the 29 other ultra-rich Mexican billionaires to support basic social services, education and infrastructure for its people; it's the Mexicangoverment that provides a comic book telling its poor people how to evade the US Border Patrol instead of providing them with textbooks and schools. And it's the Mexican people who perpetuate the culture of corruption and mordidas that scares off investors and holds their economy back.

A very cheap propaganda ploy and one I thought unworthy of you, dani.

Maryst,

I don't know why you woudl think that was a propaganda ploy -- like every other cartoon I've posted, it shows a point of view. Not necessarily mine.

FYI I am neither an immigrant, nor Mexican. I try to provide as many points of view on this site as possible -- some you may agree with, some you may not. I don't really see why this cartoon was any different from one before it. Except, perhaps, for the fact that I finally located a site where I could find cartoons from Latin America whereas all the ones before were from U.S. cartoonists.

Dani,

I hope you can find an American propaganda cartoon that's the equivalent of this one them.

Something like a Mexican flag looming over a pile of American children killed by illegal alien drunk drivers. . .except that one, unlike this one, would be more true-to-life.

Maryst,

If I find one, I certainly would post it. If I don't find one, then that says something, too.

Just know that I don't editorialize. I only present. If you ever feel I falter, call me on it. I don't feel I did any editorializing in this case.

Thanks for reading, as usual!

Okay, I apologize if I accused you unjustly.

It isn't you, it's the people you work for. Matt. They are not exactly unbiased. They banned me and Michael45 from the regular forum because we were too outspoken against their propaganda. We did lose our tempers occasionally but so did certain "PROs" and they of course did not get banned.

So thank you for letting me comment here, it's appreciated, and I can reconnect with old friends like Michael.

Well, I for one, am glad to see cartoons from non-American cartoonists. Thank you for expanding coverage!
