The scholarly article linked to from the ImmigrationProf blog is really worth reading!!
Bart DePalma a commentator on that "Professor's" blog made a much more intelligent argument -- i.e. that US taxpayers are subidizing the "cheap" labor of illegals. I agree with "Bart" that employers should be forced to bear the costs of social services used by the illegals. This would cut down on the number of illegals by a huge amount.
