Daily video: El Cenizo, the TX border town where Spanish is the official language

Make sure to watch the discussion at the end of the news-clip—many different, very interesting opinions there.

I think most people would agree that having Spanish be the sole official language is ludicrous. However, how about having two official languages in El Cenizo so as to take into account the local population, but also encourage the use of the nation's official language?

This points up the hypocrisy of many Latino citizens. They holler that its "discrimination" for English-speaking Americans to want English as the official language, but when they get their chance, they vote in Spanish as the official language in a New York minute. I guess what's good for the goose is definitely NOT good for the gander.

Latinos will never be accepted by other Americans until they drop all of their efforts to destroy our language, and accept the fact that English is the language of the United States, and its primary foundational documents, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
